City Park Farmers Market
Who can resist the pull of fresh produce (and so much more) at the City Park Farmers Market? Late summer in our City Park is pure magic, and the market makes the season come alive. The real question is: how many heirloom tomatoes is too many? Now through October.
The CPA Bucket Brigade at City Park Jazz!
Summer is not complete without an evening at City Park Jazz. The City Park Alliance Team volunteered to be part of the bucket brigade to help raise donations to help City Park Jazz keep bopping along. A few more Sundays left to come enjoy OUR City Park. Thank you to our friends at CPFAN for hosting another amazing City Park Day. Ice cream, music, and a beautiful evening (after a little rain). What a great way to kick off summer in OUR City Park. Thank you also to Sweet Cooie’s Ice Cream team, and the Denver Municipal Band.

Denver Colfax Marathon May 17-18
This is just a reminder that the annual Denver Colfax Marathon is May 17 and 18, and there will be lots of activities in and around OUR City Park. This has become a very popular event over the years and may impact your plans, so make sure and check out their website to learn more. Also, a great chance to cheer on some runners or learn how to participate this year or in next year’s years race.
City Park Day Ice Cream Social & More! May 30, 5 PM to 8 PM
City Park Day will take place on Friday, May 30 from 5 – 8pm at the City Park Pavilion. The event will once again provide free ice cream, music from the Denver Civic Band, face painting and other activities, and community tables for the institutions and neighborhood groups who are part of the City Park community.
The Victorian Society of Colorado will provide the theme for the event as we celebrate City Park’s Victorian roots. Victorian dress is encouraged. The Victorian Society’s annual Antique and Vintage Swap & Sell Sale will take place on May 18 from 9 am – 3:30 pm at 4425 Kipling St in Wheat Ridge for those of you wanting inspiration.
