Supporting a great organization! First Tee & City Park Alliance

During CPA’s annual holiday gathering, we were once again thrilled to support The First Tee Program, which is based at the City Park Golf Course.  Thank you to the CEO, Paula Purifoy for joining us and letting us learn even more about all the amazing success stories from her programs.  Thank you to our CPA team for a wonderful evening of celebrating together.  Speaking of Golf, the Annual City Park Alliance Golf Tournament is coming in June 2025.  Look for the details soon.  If you are interested in a sponsorship, let us know!

Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Repaired

Denver sculptor Ed Dwight repaired the memorial after damage when some of the plaques were ripped off and sold for scrap.  City Park Alliance and the community are grateful to Ed and the city for making sure this historic memorial remains a vital link to our past, as it guides us forward into the future.  Story on 9News

Seeking Feedback From The Neighborhood – Nature Play at City Park

Dear friends and neighbors:

We are seeking your feedback to help shape the design of natural experiences in the southeast corner of City Park. This project will restore portions of the historic DeBoer Waterway as a sustainable creek bed with water that runs the course of natural play experiences, based on Colorado’s eight ecosystems. The community’s voice is guiding project design. Prior community feedback has led to design concepts that include multi-sensory, self-directed, inclusive, multigenerational, multi-seasonal play, along with opportunities for learning, respite and engagement through authentic, natural, playful experiences for people of all ages and abilities.

We need feedback from you and your community about how you’d like to shape the natural play experiences that will be created in celebration of urban nature in City Park and have a variety of easy and creative ways for you to engage:

We look forward to hearing from you!
