Thank you for your article on goose migration and the problems associated with illegal feeding of these birds. I am a Denver native and have recently started taking our young grand daughter to the park, and am sad to say i was a culprit and we fed the geese and ducks. Ignorance of the law is not and excuse, but i never knew this was prohibited, and worse, bad for the geese. I am sure there are many others, just like me that are unaware, and i will surely voice my knowledge to any other violaters next time we are at the park.
If i can suggest, it might be helpful to produce a handful of placcards or signs, with the food prohibition, as well as a summary of the reasons for this law (bilingual too).
Thanks again for straighening me out, and hope that there are many others who are also reading this for the first time, and change there way too.
